I'm pretty sure Manolo knows they weren't sisters. S/He's too culture savvy to not know.

It just occured to me that I have no idea what the sex of my beloved Manolo is!

I do not know if it is the Manolo's wit working in odd ways, but it is a common mistake and so I will point out to general readership that the Hepburns of Hollywood, they were both white, cheekbony, and thin, both with large eyes and dark hair and small patrician noses, both elegant actresses of both comedy and drama, but they were no relation to each other.

Am I missing the clever wit of the Manolo with his calling of the divine Hepburn actresses (yes, the Katherine she may have been the brash, but the fablulous actress she also was) sisters?

You are right that the pants of the Audrey, they would not work for you. The trick for the very tall girl is to wear the capris that are cropped just below the knee. This length of the pants, it can still be worn with the flat of the ballet, but the look, it is somewhat more deliberate and will not look awkward on the girl of the tallness.

Manolo, can the veryvery tall girl wear capri's without looking like her pants are just too short? I'm 6'2", and while I love the Audrey Hepburn look, I worry that it just doesn't go with my height.
