Delicate
Manolo says, the Manolo he cannot help it, he has recently become obsessed with the shoes of the Rene Caovilla. These two pairs above, they show the delicate, feminine prettiness that has made the shoes from the Caovilla the choice of many of the stars of the Hollywood. There is much of the flowerly/butterfly-y decorations, yet somehow, it seems to the Manolo to be admirably restrained.
Are they not most special?

Oh, the details are just lovely! Thanks for sharing.
The silver ones I love. This girl, however, while she loves the high heel, always she feels a bit unsteady in the slide, or especially the mule. The Manolo, does he have any recommendations for the keeping of the foot in the shoe with ease?
The second pair is gorgeous! Very evocative of a garden trellis covered in climbing roses. I want them.
Yes, Manolo, they are indeed most special! Thank you for showing them to us. It feels good just to look at them, especially the second pair, and to think of how much careful attention to detail the Caovilla expressed in their creation.
Wow. Now, those are some nice shoes. ChicagoChic’s point about the fact that they are unfortunately high-heeled slides is well-taken. You can easily twist an ankle in this style of shoes.
Pumps are a problem to wear too, because you don’t want to get the “pump bump” abrasion on your heel. There are also the shoes with the strap located right at the ankle. This stabilizes the foot a good deal, but these aren’t flattering to the leg. The best shoes are the ones that are strappy, but they have the strap located at the heel (on the back) or on the upper arch (but not right at the ankle).
manolo,
why would someone pay upwards of $400 for the flowered shoes when an almost identical pair could be had for $99 from the Nordstrom? (Hype “Yanci”)
The top pair are simply gawgeous…
The top ones are the stuff of dreams.
wacky seester, I’m basically with you. Personally, I refuse to pay more than $100 for a pair of shoes. For those who can afford them, these are lovely, but there are lower-cost options available.
Hooray for the defiantly unstylish!
I LOVE RENE Caovilla, I had these as my bridal shoes.
