Yes Grace kelly was a true beauty but she cannot compare to the beauty grace and kindness of Princess Diana. Princess Diana also had a no good husband who cheated on her from the beginning. She had no one to turn to. As the most photographed woman or person in the world. The only place she had a bit of privacy was in the palace. She used her fame and good looks to take care of her children and to show the world about problems like hiv, aids, leporsey and bulimia in which she also had. Her wedding dress beat Grace kelly's any day with a train of 25 feet her wedding was extroadinary and a real fairytale a kindergarten teacher becoming a princess. Riding to her wedding in a horse carriage and she looked so beautiful and she is the best royal their ever has been and will ever be.

Without wishing to appropriate any of The Manolo's rights, duties or privileges appertaining to his position as The Manolo, Host of the Wonderful She Blog, and without wishing to trespass on his hospitality as host, La BellaDonna confirms to the Wayward Flying Nun, that the Hermes "Kelly Bag" was indeed named for La Principessa.

(La BellaDonna is now considering getting a larger umbrella, having reckoned without the possibility that nuns might be flying overhead.)

La BellaDonna hopes that the marriage was, for at least a while, as fairy-tale as the wedding appears to have been. She is sorry to report that the Princess Grace was not marrying her first choice; Grace Kelly was very much enamoured of Oleg Cassini, but Mr. Kelly, the father, he put down his foot about his daughter marrying a dress designer. Apparently Mr. Kelly thought his little princess should be a ... princess.

La BellaDonna is also sorry to report that, some years into the marriage, it was said that the Prince Ranier did not treat the Princess in a manner at all respectful - and this in front of other peoples. It was the very, very bad form. Apparently, as the princess grew older, and appeared to grow older (still beautiful, still kind, still the mother of his children), the Prince Ranier grew indifferent and somewhat contemptuous.

It is, perhaps, the cautionary tale for any lady "waiting for her prince to come."

The Mimi is not wrong in what she says; La BellaDonna agrees with her, wholeheartedly. It is just, in this instance, it may not have been the case ...

She was amazingly beautiful.
Next I have to say love is blind...
That dress is, was, always will be the most beautiful, such a reflection of the bride herself...Classics.

Love sees and responds to the inner beauty of a person. Outer attractiveness is nice to look at, but it does fade with time--for all of us. The purity of two people’s love for each other and how they manifest the depth of their souls are what bind people together in this life and, some would say, perhaps even beyond.
