Baby Shoes

Manolo says, since the Manolo he invented the shoe blog last year, the shoe-blogging it has spread like the wildfire. There is now even the shoe blog about the baby shoes!

    I’ll stick to Stride Rite…

Oh, and to the woman who was asking about the shoes for the feets that are wide, Banana Republic’s shoes tend to run wide. This allows me to buy the shoes of the pointy-ness without suffering the blisters of the tightness.

I also like stride rite, they hold up better than any other kids shoes. There are some really cute shoes on the above site for babies. I love the little animal appliques.

  3. Bagchic Says:

The booties/shoes are cute for people who think babies even need shoes, but I was kind of psyched to read a blog about tiny shoes in general (anyone ever see kid’s D&G shoes?). That one is kind of like a blogomercial.

    To the superfantastic Liz,
Alas, those of us with the feets the breadth of the Canyon of Grandness know that the regular shoes which merely have the cut of wideness will not suffice for our poor cramped feets. These shoes in the so-called average B width, ay, they pinch and blister the much-maligned wide feets, causing the pain which makes even the most superfantastic girl cranky.

Interesting read about barefoot being the best for the kiddies. I worked for an orthopedic surgeon who did an extensive amount of research on barefoot running (believe it or not, running shoes are all GARBAGE!) in adults and children and he found that barefeet are indeed the way to go! Which is great news for me, because as much as I love *looking* at shoes, I detest wearing them. *GASP!! I KNOW!!*
I’m off to the Lucky Shoe Event at Macy’s in Union Square in SF, CA…
    Ciao!

I have tried the shoes from preschoolians for my children and they are absolutely amazing. Their customer service is top notch and they have every pattern of soft-soled shoe that you could want. And, if they don’t have it, send them a picture (even from another brand) and they willl make it! Can’t ask for more than that.

Now my kids will be wanting designer shoes for their birthdays!
