Ahh…the Manolo–he philosophizes with the shoes…hmm…not just a pretty foot…
Does the Manolo have any comment to make about the shoes of the pope on the display of the feet? Were they the shoes worn in the life? Or just in the death? Zappos? Or hand-made, custom Italian?

The Scarlett, she reminds the Manolo that without the vanity of the Pope Julius II, we may be without the glorious ceiling in the Chapel of the Sistine. We might be gazing at the lapis lazuli painted firmament studded with gilded stars instead of the extraordinary frescos of the Michelangelo.

The Agony and the Ecstacy is a marvelous movie with powerful performances by Harrison and Heston.

What’s the Manolo going to watching when the Fidel Castro dies? Motorcycle Diaries, Hitchcock’s Topaz, The Buena Vista Social Club, 13 Days In October and Oliver Stone’s Commandante.
