I have been searching for a pair of sandals to wear to Disneyworld (we are taking my son, who is 5). And I have asked myself, what would the Manolo think? Because we will be walking and standing in line for hours and it's also very hot, I knew I needed study sandals. But I could not bear to buy the Tevas or the Birkenstocks. Horrible! And so I have been meaning to ask what I should get and here is the answer! Oh, Manolo, thank you! I have been searching for a pair of sandals to wear to Disneyworld (we are taking my son, who is 5). Back when I worked in an outdoor shop, anyone who did anything outdoors wore them and scorned Teva, for good reason. They are worth every penny and more! I have always preferred sandals for walking, over sneakers, and I walk alot, as I travel alot. It's hard to find cute sandals for walking that are actually comfortable. Super-comfortable. And they do have a full line of non-leather versions for camping trips. If you're still wearing Tevas you're missing the boat, unless you like blisters. (I'd be happy to sell you one of my three pairs of Tevas which I NEVER wear anymore...) But I agree with the Manolo, they're better suited for camping than weddings (Chaco used to offer one in white, just for weddings...). Chacos are fabulous. Super-comfortable.
