Like to buy some shoes?

Manolo says, here you see the famous designer of the shoes Carlos Santana.

He must indeed be the man of boundless energy to be able to master the demands of fashion design and yet still have the time to play the guitar on the side.

You’ve got to change your evil ways, Carlos.

    How seriously bizarre!

Ok, is there something seriously wrong with me? Cause I think some of his shoe designs are cute. No, I did not just say that. Um, yes I did. I have not seen them up close, however, so maybe they look real cheapo in person.

The weird thing is that many of his shoes are actually attractive. It must be the great and fearsome angel Metatron who is giving him the inspiration to design them.

No, it’s not just you two, those are some cute shoes.
I don’t know about comfortable, but definetely cute.

i love his shoes- I think they’re really cute

Do you think he really designed these shoes, or did he just lend his name?

I can’t talk about his shoes, cause I can’t take my eyes off his hat in that picture.

Oh, Manolo, his shoes are so smooth.

  10. Manolo the Shoeblogger April 8, 2005 at 10:52 am #

Yes, the Manolo cannot but notice that many of the shoes of the Carlos, they are not bad. This, the Tiberia has noted, it is undoubtedly the result of the Carlos loaning the name to the true designers.

The Manolo he has not seen these shoes in the person, however he suspects, given the price, that they are made in the China of the poor material. Perhaps someone, they can enlighten the Manolo about this.

After his hatest infatuation with Che, they may be made in Cuba.

I think he has extra time since people recommend he not play in southern Florida anymore.

Some of his shoes are cute… but some of them, they are the gawdawful ugly. I’ve seen them in person though, and they seem to be as decently put together as other shoes in that price range.

Ay ay ay! Perhaps made in the Cuba for the Cuban hooker population? Yikes. Stick with your day job, Carlos.

I love his shoes. I tried a pair on. They were very nice, but not for me.

    Manolo,

It looks Santana uses the money he makes from the poor Chinese children to teach other children about pretty things: http://store.nordstrom.com/category/cat_boutique.asp?category=2376778~2372811~2378111~2379355&boutique=carlos_santana

Many of the shoes by Santana are available at the Macy’s, and the prices are reasonable for even the working girl. There were a couple disasters, but most had quite the cuteness.

I have a pair of his shoes. They are very cute…but not very comfy. Definitely should be worn by someone who doesn’t have much walking to do.

I have a pair of his cowboy boots and they are completely comfortable and scrumptious. I am as baffled as you are.
