Also when I was in Tokyo my hosts ordered raw horse sashimi and tried to convince me to partake...I had to draw the line there. Apparently wild horse meat is a delicacy in Europe. I can say I never saw horsemeat on a menu in Germany...but still....it wrenches my heart to see our mustangs up for grabs like this. Ironically, the story today on AZ.com is about the legislature that allows wild horses here in AZ to be sold, to such buyers as the Eurotrash market.
