Hee hee hee. I love it. I was wondering this myself, when viewing the Tuesday posts. But we must wonder on, I say. Manolo must remain the mystery to be so superfantastic. No? I think thoughts of curiousity and I push them away. No! Be gone.

I, too, love the life without the job. The blogging is my job. And yet, I have the school, wich is my other full time job. With my perhaps-coming English degree, I read the Shakespeare, whom is, I believe to be, the most superfantastic writer.

I also read the Glamour every month.

And fashion blogs.

Let me part you with this thought, relating to everything I've said...

"AT THE WHICH LET NO MAN WONDER."

From the Shakespeare play that I am fabulously acting in. I just got my lines down pat. So many jobs for us unemployed, never forget!

I don't think the Manolo says "chica." But I do think it's fun to consider the Manolo wandering around New York City or London as a regular (albeit fashionable) man, no one the wiser that it is the SuperFantastic Manolo.

actually, in the interview with manolo published a couple of months ago, the bloggista guessed that manolo, he is in the "industry". since i can't imagine the life without the job, i imagined manolo to be a man of the peoples too. my bad. i mean, don't any of you imagine one day you are in an elevator up to your office, and a well-coifed man turns to you as you are about to get off on your floor, and says, 'the manolo thinks those are superfantastic shoes, chica.' i like the idea that in each of us office drones, there lurks a superfantastic manolo writing his blog in a cube between deadlines. but the manolo, i can't think of a better person to be of the independent wealth, even if the revolution will find him and scuff his shoes.

I don't know why this person who asked the question assumed that a person such as the great Manolo would or could be constrained by a 9-5 "job" like the rest of us...pish!

The Manolo is "working overtime" only in the Bachman-Turner Overdrive sense - lucky Manolo!
For the fashion folk who need to know, it is the rapacious desire for clues ("culture vulture") that requires the attention of a renaissance man to decipher what is new, what is next. Eclectic voyeurism is the key to untangling our civilization into easily digestible bloggy nubbins. Which the Manolo is a total pro at - and an inspiration.

No job! No job! Hopefully that will be the wave of the future for us all. The Manolo does what he loves, and that is his "job." It should be for everybody!

I will agree that reader of the voracious type never suffers. It would seem that the Manolo he enjoys his interests, including the "job."
