The Mariah has put on the pounds of weight, true, but they are the womanly pounds, and in the right places. The Mariah, she appears built for the comfort and not for the speed. The jeans, alas, appear not built for the comfort at all! They also foreshorten the Mariah woefully, but perhaps she is digging for the clams after the festival?

I think her curves look fantastic, but she should learn how to wear clothes that will accomodate those curves and that aren’t too small.

What was it that La BellaDonna had said under The Fashion as the Art about “delusions as to, perhaps, the age, or the size”? Hmmmm.
This Mimi may not be able to sing like the Daisy Mae Mimi, but at least she wouldn’t be caught dead (or as a hostage) dressed like this.

the aging stars, they need to accept the growing older with grace. otherwise their children they will trick them into becoming a surprise guest on “oprah” for the episode entitled, “help! my 50 year old mother dresses like she is 19!”

Elizabeth says, those in the mind for calling the Mariah “top-heavy” would not be entirely within the bounds of inaccuracy.
But as for the aging stars, I’m not sure the Mariah is NOT aging gracefully, for then her superior flotation devices, they would be somewhat closer to her knees, would they not?

The Mariahmimi she looks like the combination of the Sandy and the Rizzo in the Grease. The Sandy only in the cut of the shirt.

The Mariahmimi she has a lovely figure. She is embracing the va-va-voom voluptuousness. But it is the figure not to be squeezed by the sausage casing.

The Mariah, she is not the 98 of the pounds, nor the 18 years of the age, but she is beautiful. However, the Mariah, she dresses as if she believes only the 98 of the pounds, and the 18 years of the age, can be beautiful. This is both painful and of the wrongness; it leads to the great personal unhappiness, since so many of the years they are spent not being the 18 years of the age, and also it leads to the appearance on the Oprah (per dgm), or on the “What Not To Wear.”
It is the widespread assumption among the men and the women, and especially of the Hollywood and the media, but it is wrong. There are the many ways and shapes and ages that are beautiful; if this was not so, there would be only the one kind of the flowers; only the one kind of the gemstones; and only the one style of the shoes!

La Bella Donna she has contributed some keen insight… that the Mariahmimi dresses as if she thinks that the only acceptable weight is the 98# and the only acceptable age is the 18 of years old.
Likewise, the younger of the pop tarts today they dress in the clothing that is not even appropriate on grown women of legal age.
It is as if the women we all wish to be something we are not. Or something we were ten years ago.
The beauty of the Manolo is that he celebrates the beauty of all of the types of the women. The Manolo he can find at least one of the redeeming of the qualities in every woman. Except the Hilton of Paris. And perhaps the Star of Jones.

Yes, Mariah is a beautiful woman with nice curves, but she is 35 not 15. I like the fuller, healthy physique. She just doesn’t know how to dress it.

I agree with you all. I would also like to point out that it is getting quite difficult to FIND the affordable clothes for the legal age woman that don’t look like they are made for the 15 yr old girl. In other words, we’re screwed.

God, she got fat. She needs the implants taken out. Then she’d look like a normal human. Or maybe just smaller implants. The makeup on her face looks like shit as well.

This is a difficult manever to pull off … perhaps the healthier twin of the Olsen could successfully wear this ensemble but I don’t even want to see a much slimmer Pamela of the Anderson try this. Just way too much mammary information and the leg looks very shortened.
The Mariah needs to find a new stylist … stat … one that can say, “No, Ms. Carey, we can do far better than that.”

While it may be true that the curves look good on Mariah, as they do on most women, this outfit is WRONG on so many levels. Being a voluptuous woman myself, its all about playing up the right areas (read: NOT the pontoons) and Miss Glitter Diva just needs a little help in the less-is-more department.
Nonetheless, “WORK THAT SHIT, GIRRRRRRL!!!!”

God… is Mariah crazy? that outfit is only good for the hairdresser (i don’t care that she’s wearing a pair of manolos or a prada blouse)…
All I can say is that someone need a stylist really bad…
