First the Brad Pitt and the Angeline Jolie

Manolo asks, does the Laura know?

  1. Annalucia Says:

I believe that in the Middle East, hand-holding among men is not unusual and carries no connotations of the Andrew-Sullivan-like proclivities.

Nonetheless, the expression on the Dubya’s face suggests that he will go home afterwards and scrub his hands with the Lysol and the sandpaper.

  2. MoP QQQ Says:

“We are merely exchanging long protein strands! If you can think of a better way, I’d like to hear it! “

  3. La Cabrita Says:

Is W holding the Crown Prince Abdullah’s unclean hand?

  4. Carol Says:

I think Dubya is squeezing hard to see if any oil comes out.

  5. enygma Says:

Hahahahaha!! That’s got to be so uncomfortable for any hetero American male.

  6. Daniela Says:

“I want to sleep on the hard ground
in the comfort of your arms
    on a pillow of bluebonnets
in a blanket made of stars”

Oh, and Bluefly is having a 20% off shoe sale.

  7. Anonymous Says:

Haha! Loved all the witty comments too.

  8. Elizabeth Says:

It’s kind of sad when the simple idea of men holding hands now denotes homosexuality. Haha - men touching men - it must be sexual! Uh-huh. Our society has become sexually paranoid.
By the way, what shoes are they wearing?

  9. Carol Says:

Gee, Elizabeth, I thought it was ironical commentary on Bush’s anti-gay platform, and here it was just homophobia. Silly me.

  10. Cordelia Says:

I agree with Annalucia… the look on Georgie-boy’s face is priceless. I can’t tell whether he’s trying to keep from puking, or trying really hard not to smile because holding hands with boys is funny.

  11. Cris Says:

The W no doubt has coined the affectionate diminutive, the “nickname”, for the Prince. Hopefully, it will be kept in the secure, undisclosed location.

  12. Mimi Says:

Hola to the Mimi’s Internet friends via the Manolo’s shoe blog and, of course, to the Manolo himself who, as la BellaDonna so eloquently put it, gives us a place where we can feel at home.

The Mimi just noticed that the Manolo hides a little treat with almost every picture. Hold your cursor over a picture and look at what pops up.

  13. La BellaDonna Says:

Hola, Mimi! La BellaDonna suggests to the AnnaLucia and the Cordelia, that the Dubya’s expression, it is because the Crown Prince, he is tickling the palm of the hand he is holding!

  14. MollieBee Says:

    Aw, they’re so cute together.

  15. JayKay Says:

Awwwww, how poetic. They are holding hands, frollicing in the wildflowers….its like a scene right out of a trashy romance novel that has Fabio on the cover…and the look on the Dubbya’s face, priceless.
Thank you, Manolo. This is a gem. =D

  16. bobh Says:

    “frollicing in the wildflowers”
Perhaps the “Texas Bluebonnet”–the state flower of Texas.
    Men like flowers too.

  17. KatieP Says:

Mimi says: “The Mimi just noticed that the Manolo hides a little treat with almost every picture. Hold your cursor over a picture and look at what pops up.”

This is true in the Internet Explorer browser because the Manolo, he uses the ALT tag to place his little treat. If he were to also use a TITLE tag, the treat would show up for the users of the Firefox, Netscape, and Opera.

  18. JayKay Says:

    To bobh:
I know that the state flower of Texas is the bluebonnet…I am from a little town in the Lone Star state called Dallas, ya ever hear of it?
I was simply commenting on the Yahoo! news caption that accompanied this picture (click on the pic to see the news story)
It just struck me as funny the way it was phrased…. that’s all. *shrug*

  19. rustic Says:

The Junior, his nostrils have not flared like that since he did the lines off the Rove’s asscrack.
