Manolo says, this it is the famous Duct Tape Bag from the Vanessa Jean. The material and the colors they make the Manolo smile with their funky wit.

Yes, it is certainly not for everyone, however, if you are the young hip girl of the downtown, it is perhaps right for you. And best of the all, it is the inexpensive treat, selling for under $70 of the American dollars at the LoveMyBag.com!

Why must I be young in order to covet this bag? Life’s not fair.

  2. Carol Says:

This old bag would definitely carry that young bag.

  3. JayKay Says:

I had a friend in junior high that went as “Duct-tape boy” for Halloween one year and I assure you, his get-up, although very well tailored for a 7th grader, was NOT even close to being worth $70 of the American dollars.

    $70 for TAPE?!?!
    Criminal.

  4. Joanna Says:

As the college student, I must say that I could not afford the duct tape bag. How unfortunate that one would be older to have the money, but then perhaps one would not feel as comfortable in their ability to pull off carrying such a cute bag.

  5. Gryph Says:

One could, if one wished, embrace the use of Duck Tape(tm) brand Duct tape, which provideas a wide variety of colors, and make your own bag.

    Because seriously, $70 dollars?

  6. A Bee Says:

I have a nice Saran Wrap dress that I’m looking to get rid of. Shall we start the bidding at $150?

    Yikes…

  7. Laborer Says:

I wonder how long it took them to learn how to do it right? No 7th grader could make it this well. I’d definitely pay $70 for for the artist’s time instead of $20 to a Chinese sweatshop!

  8. Vlad Says:

    How about $75 for seatbelts?

  10. Diane Says:

My son who is the age of the teen tells me that he has seen many impressive duct tape clothing creations at his high school. In fact, one girl made her prom dress out of duct tape this year and was featured in the local newspaper for it. Her dress was adorable, but it was a shame to read that her mother had to cut it off of her when she came home.

(Diane, she asks the Manolo’s forgiveness if she is being the comment ho as of late.)

  11. Designer Ella Says:

This bag makes me very sad. It makes me want to weep for the sake of true bags out there.

  12. Kris Says:

I think that the husband, he would actually buy this bag for his wife. Mother’s Day?

  13. MollieBee Says:

There is a site devoted to duct tape and making things with it. I don’t remember the address, so google it if you’re interested.

  14. Chelli Says:

My website has lots of duct tape stuff too, and definitely not as expensive.
