Napoleon XIV
Manolo says, here on the top you see, with the beautiful Eva Herzigova, the freaky little fashion troll John Galliano.
There on the bottom, you see the Mr. Galliano in the more formal attire.
By the way, this it confirms the Manolo’s premise that, in the general, the designing of the fashion, it appeals most to those who are themselves not possessed of the physical beauty.

So that’s what he looks like. It’s always funny to see a picture of the designer behind the highly touted fashions.

although the miuccia and the carolina herrera and the monique lhuillier they are the exceptions, no? the men, i agree, are not usually the beautiful but the women designers they sometimes are. others like the anna sui and the betsy johnson, although with interesting styles, are not most appealing…

I cannot help it. I love the crazy Galliano. Look at the weirdness of him! May he never, ever become less weird.

The Camera begs the Manolo to add the “Ayyyyyy!” tag to this one. She is “creeped-out” by the whole thing.
And someone really should remind persons of both genders not to wear the forest green. He may have been going for “Robin Hood” but he only hit “Keebler Elf”.

Ayyyyy, for real. He looks like Charles II on crack.
May 19th, 2005 at 2:12 pm
No no no, not Napoleon…it is clear to me that M. Galliano has taken for his fashion inspiration a different millitary man: Captain Crunch. By way of Bedrock, apparently. Ayyyyy, indeed!

I had no idea that John Galliano was actually Dee Snyder’s Mini-Me clone.

La BellaDonna chokes, and salutes the Lisa. A little Clairol Men’s Choice (Dark Brown), and le petite Galliano would be mini-me for the dashing Charles II. La BellaDonna may make the funny remark (well, funny to La BellaDonna, at least!) but, like the Tania, she has a weakness for the work of the Galliano.
It is the interesting, though, is it not, that it is the peoples like the John Galliano and his ilk, dictate to the hoi and the polloi what is the “fashionable.”
It is not the first, nor the last, time that “fashionable” often appears to be the synonymous with “unwearable.”

The Tia cannot stop laughing at the Comments of the Galliano.

Look ,I’d rather sleep with him than Alexander “Tubby Custard” Mcqueen, or Jean Paul “Le VD” Gaultier….Or spend a night in the Coffin with Karl Lagerfeld.
Word.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves! John Galliano is the most talented of all the haute couture designers. His enxcentricity is an electrifying breath of fresh air to the fashion industry. Besides he’s the coolest. You don’t disrespect this man…sorry.
