A comment on Crabbygal’s comment “I am drawn to the nose. The big noses, they can be fabulous! ”
If you have been reading the Freud (as I have), then you realize that the fascination with the big nose is what the Freud would be calling the fetish, a representation of genetalia standing in for your desire but being useless, sexually speaking.
So when you lust after his big nose, it is quite the, um, phallic representation. Heh.
He is a great actor, and that’s all he needs to be for me. I try to see all of his films.
Yes, yes indeed. Lusty!
No, I don’t see it. Not at all. Now, if that were Alan Rickman….
If it were Alan Rickman there could be no association with repulsiveness or slovenly since Alan is just about perfect.
He looks in pain as if wearing a lace thong that is way too tight & He looks rather stinky, which also appeals to the french.
kathleen, you’re an asshat. have you ever been out of kansas? or is it new jersey? quel con.
“He looks like the bastard love child of a three way fugly gang bang involving Carl Malden, W.C. Fields and Nick Nolte” – damn that’s funny! Disturbing, but funny!
depardon’t!
“depardon’t!”
Ha!
Brilliant!
Would an ugly woman get the same accolades?
Can a “differently attractive” woman be considered darkly sexy?
Who’s an example of a woman like Depardieu?
Just curious.
Two words: Les Valseuses.
The female equivalent of Depardieu is Isabella Rosselini, she is like a stinky French cheese, the kind the fromagier will sell to you at a discount on the condition that you enjoy it immediately.
Hello I’m French … Gérard is a great actor and he was with the Nicest woman of France … Carole Bouquet … The icon oh Chanel N°5 … Also a French Icon … Our cheeses are beautiful (answer to SJ) and i Love my Country and our Person at the head Chirac a fabulous man who said No to your stupid Bush !
Bonjour, Clement. One can see why the French, they are famous for their witty repartee.
Q: Why are the streets of Paris lined with trees?
A: So the Germans can march in the shade.
