Oh Manolo! The depth and variety of your interests–Augustine & Julia Child all at one time. Manolo, I am creating a composite image of the Manolo and I am curious to know if I would recognize the Manolo if I just happened to be standing next to him in a bookstore or a food market–or a hoe down (?) :-)

GOOD Merle pick. The opening strains of Big City … My wife and I had a western swing band play at our wedding and we danced to that one. I wish a buck was still silver, like back when the country was strong … . I have sung that one to my kids as a lullabye — a dark, nostalgic lullabye.

What is The Manolo? Is he an international man of mystery? I do know one thing. The Manolo likes the Wild West, Wild West Domains to be precise. The Lone Blogger urges the Manolo to make sure he gets his Web site name registered before it expires on December 23. That way the women who want The Manolo and the men who envy The Manolo can read his musings for at least another year.
