Robert Clergerie on the Sale
Manolo says, here is another round-toed velvet pump, this one from the Robert Clergerie. It, too, is 65% off of the regular price, a savings of over $230 of the American dollars.

I don’t know what it is about this particular kind of design, but I love love love these. They make me think they will bring out my inner WWII Bomber Nose Art Pinup Girl.

Those are indeed fabulous pumps. I love the description:
“This fabulous velvet pump lets you make the impression you want.”

dear tiberia,
i too wondered what is the color “teck”, but then discovered that clicking on the different color choices changes the photo, and so it appears that “teck” is mr. clergerie’s word for black??

What is so, so sweet about these shoes?
I just love ‘em!
Because she is no longer in the habit of wearing fine shoes, the desertwind must console herself by occasionally gazing lovingly at her favorite pair of 1930s chocolate velvets bought exclusively many years ago from the St. Vincent of de Paul and now wrapped carefully away in tissue paper.
She enjoys the memories even if they are not exclusively her own.

I have some black velvet pumps, somewhat similar to these. But the wine color is just beautiful. Love them!

Dagny Taggert would wear these shoes.
