Shoes of Danger
Manolo says, continuing the topic of the dangerous shoes, here is the picture of the famous shoes of the Vivienne Westwood that the Naomi Campbell toppled from in the 1993.
As the piece of the trivia, those shoes, they were laced onto the feet of the Naomi Campbell by the Holly Dunlap, of the Hollywould. (See the entry for the July 11, 2004)

Maestro Manolo, are you arguing that not just outrageous fashion for the haute couture and runway must be ridiculed (as you have skillfully done in the past) but those ridiculous fashions which become popular throughout the sweat-soaked masses should also be shunned? And if that is true, then where would you say the line of taste appears when a member of said sweat-soaked masses wishes to push the edge of what is considered fashionable, but yet without appearing ridiculous? We seek enlightenment. Thank you for your time.
Gee, and I was just gonna comment on the gorgeous color and texture of those shoes – heh!
I love them!! hope naomi didnt break a leg! u know what they do with models with broken leggs!lol!
What was never reported in the press was whether Naomi then punched anyone afterward, and if so, whom?
And by the by, all this talk of dangerous shoes reminds me of the ultimate cautionary tale of fancy footwear:

Thank you, Tania. Well done.
Tania about the Naomi quote … my sentiments exactly.
I for one am glad those shoes are behind glass. Otherwise Gwen Stefani might put them on and stomp all over those poor Harajuku girls.
I think those shoes are going to give me nightmares!
I think the Paul Begala he wore them as well, did he not?
