Speaking of celebrities… Here’s something that I don’t know if you’ll love or deplore for your FAVORITE celebrity.

The Mickey, he needs the gracious guidance of the Manolo in the ways of the footwear. The shoes of the Mickey have too much of the style of the 1995: chunky-heeled and bulbous-toed. The Betsy, she fears also for the health of The Mickey due to the excess weight Mr. Mouse seems to be carrying around the waistline. A front fanny, if you will. The Arnold, on the other hand, does not look so bad in his summer suit and cowboy boots, except that The Arnold appears to be practicing for a march in the Electrical Parade.
However, the package of The Terminator has been neatly outlined for the perusal of the guests of the Magic Kingdom via the unfortunate fit of the trousers. The Betsy, she is both slightly horrified yet titillated by the sight. She must go and pray now.

Wow, Betsy, you’re right! Ahnold looks a little TOO happy to be holding hands with Mickey… hee!!

Perhaps the Arnold is relieved that he is only to be photographed with the Mickey Mouse. He has been so many years in Hollywood and no doubt has been photographed with much stranger and more unpleasant creatures than the large black rodent. And yes, the Arnold dresses very well for the hot California summer; more gentlemen should follow his example.

The Ahhnold may indeed be the snappy dresser, but the governing abilities, not so much. The deja is looking forward to the opportunity to vote for whomever is the opponent of the Ahhnold.

I voted for NO RECALL back when the whole AAAAHHHHNOLD fiasco took place. I, too, look forward to voting for whomever is opposing the Governator. He is an abomination. A well-dressed abomination, but an abomination nonetheless….

I wonder if he groped Mickey backstage.

Did I hear my name called?

the REAL abominations were those who actually wanted Gray Davis to remain the governor of this politically ruined state of California, thanks to all the unfettered Lefties here in power. Geez! Leave us alone!
July 26th, 2005 at 2:47 am
Excuse me, Mr. Gaston Associates, but there are those of us “little people” in California who didn’t like Gray Davis but also didn’t like the idea of a phony recall bankrolled by people who couldn’t win the Governorship any other way.
You do environmental consulting and this is your boy? I guess your comment makes sense now.
Those unfettered lefties. Gotta watch out for them, although they aren’t as sneaky as the “unfettered” righties. They create elections where there are none.

Ayyyy! Please, the Manolo he loves his many internet friends but he would prefer that they step to any one of the thousands of the political blogs to argue about the politics.
Here, in this place, we talk about the shoes and the clothes and the fashion, and we poke the gentle fun at the famosos.
The blog of the Manolo should be the place of civility and friendship, even among those who would ordinarily disagree about politics.

Is there a sorceror’s apprentice’s wand in Arnold’s pocket, or is he just happy to see Mickey?
July 26th, 2005 at 12:52 pm
There is a new book out called “Fantastic : the life of arnold schwarzenegger” about the Ahnold’s journey from poor Austrian immigrant to movie star to governor. Whether you like him or not, he’s worked very hard and done well for himself.

The Tia Nieve asks: Fetters? How very kinky!

Ever see “Spinal Tap” the movie? That is a sweatsock — no doubt!

I agree with LF - someone found a use for the single socks that pop up in the laundry . . ..

Ahem!…The Manolo he is of course correctomundo as always, however, politics is also the muy importante because if my taxes were lower, I could afford to buy my lovely staff the pretty pumps more frequently. Here, we love the environment and we love the shoes! plus, JayKay started it. haha
