Manolo says, bring it on, Mr. Stegosaurus.

Rawrrrrr! King of the primordial soup!

And now the Elton John, he must feed.

Please, oh please, put Elton on a t-shirt!!!

  2. abfabdude Says:

    Paula,

Elton John. Tee Shirt. Moobs. no.

Oh dear, I thought you were suggesting that Elton relax his rather foppish wardrobe by dressing down a bit. In fact you are suggesting the commodification of these Images by PUTTING them on said t-shirts.

    Carry On.

This foe is beyond any of you - RUN!!

  4. JayKay Says:

I really think its just a matter of the photographers failing (every time) to get Elton’s good side…
Yeah. That *has* to be it.

  5. Catrandom Says:

Well, he looks fine to me. Just a nice portly Englishman in his 50s with flashy taste in clothes.

But then I’ve loved Elton since I was 11, which is getting to be a really, really long time ago :)

  6. paula Says:

Sorry everyone… I was referring to Manolo Wisdom on t-shirts. Tyrannosaurus Elton always cracks me up! =)

  7. abfabdude Says:

    Hmm, yes
It IS nice to see a celebrity actually dress like a celebrity, instead of a casual laborer waiting on a street corner. And whatever personal misgivings I have with the hair replacement industry, he does NOT in any way remind me of Rip Taylor.

    At All.

  8. Southern Belle Says:

Apparently there is something wrong with getting older & chubby.

  9. Zarba Says:

I for one NEVER trust a man in a cravat.

“And now the Elton John, he must feed.”

Fortunately, he has a big lettuce leaf on his jacket to get him started.

  11. Aimee d'Ashmore Says:

A mistake to put a giant plant on a mans jacket may be made once. What’s one excuse for the second time?

  12. wichitagirl Says:

That’s no lettuce leaf: it’s a giant jellyfish.

  13. Karen Says:

Sir Elton is still the gentleman who gave us beautiful ballads like “Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters”, “Tiny Dancer”, and “Rocket Man”. To pharaphrase his lyrics, I thank the lord for the music he has made.

  14. OHMYSTARZ Says:

Sadly, “Sir” Elton, does not write the lyrics, but only the music. Most, if not all, of the lyrics to his songs were written by Bernie Taupin. The songs are beautiful, yes, but the words are not his.

  15. Karen Says:

Yes, you are correct, OHMYSTARZ. Shortly after posting, I realized my mistake. The songs that I refer to are written by Bernie Taupin. The lyrics and the music are beautiful together.
