Claret
Manolo says, the Anne Klein she calls the color of this beautiful shoe the “claret”, which to the mind of the Manolo is most appropriate because it is like the rare vintage wine. And like the finest wine, the super fantastic woman who would dare to wear this shoe would indeed be worthy of savoring.
Indeed it is so beautiful…but alas, it is not $463.95 worth of beautiful, and even if it were, the Annalucia cannot wear the three-inch heels. But she thanks the Manolo for posting the pretty picture .
The best friend of the Lisa got married at the time of the Christmas and the Lisa’s maid of the bride dress was the color of the claret. (And was even the fabric of the velvet!)
The Lisa wore shoes very similar to these shown by the Manolo, and as they are gorgeous, still wears them to the occasional party of the holidays. The claret, it is a very adaptable color.
What a lovely compliment the Manolo has given to all of us who would jump at the opportunity to have these beautiful shoes grace our feet!
