Man! I wish I could find another pair of the white Rod Lavers with the orange and green trim. I loved those shoes. I can’t find them anywhere. Know of any place?

another “greatest shoe in the world vote” from me for the laver leather.the mesh do get dirty fast and are hard to impossible to clean and just dnt have the look or the feel.shouldve bought five pair in 2003 when i had the feeling i wouldnt be able to find them again.

Where can I find the all black suede/leather/mesh combo. I have a pair now that are on their last leg, but I can’t find them anywhere else and they are my favorite shoe of all time. PLEASE HELP!

I looked far and wide for leather Rod Laver’s. The mesh ones get dirty way too fast. I’ve looked in every sneaker store in Manhattan and Queens. The all black ones don’t fit right, somethign about the way they treat the leather. Rod Laver’s in leather are the greatest shoe in the world, I may have to buy 5 pairs right now, just to be safe.

Humph.

The eventual dirtiness of the Lavers is their appeal. Like an old pair of Chucks. This especially looks good with a pair of worn jeans.

PF Flyers, though, are still my forgotten favorite. In part because they are a little harder to find in the stores and really Chucks were just a down market copy of the Flyers anyway.

It seems that the Puma Clydes that are coming back are only a limited edition thing. I think a fairly suitable substitute is the Puma Majesty Lows.
