One World, One Dream

Manolo says, one sad set of male models.

P.S. 0nce again the Manolo must note that in China the standards for the male modeling career they do not appear prohibitively high.

Are these men from China’s Olympic boxing, shotputting, and javelin throwing teams? If so, it looks like they’ve really cracked down on steroid abuse.

    Hello, camel toe.

I had the (mis)fortune to attend a fashion show in a HangZhou silk factory. The lovely silk dresses, ill fitting as they were, still could not disguise the chunky third world undergarments – “panty lines” does not adequately describe the effect. Picture pretty young ladies, clingy silk dresses, and a three-year-old’s training panties.

Those poor Sino-albinos. You think a China would have gotten to the economic breaking point where they could afford lotion.

The man on the right, he appears to be wearing too much clown makeup. Or perhaps it is a mask?

Shiye Jia, the Annalucia thanks you for the glimpse into the Chinese fashion industry; it is a shame that nobody there has yet thought of the risks inherent in the unsuitable undergarment. The Annalucia is a recent convert to the “Spanx” brand of underwear and finds it to be not only flattering to the shape but completely inconspicuous even under light summer wear. Perhaps someone should recommend it to the fashionisti of China.

(And no, the Annalucia does not work for Spanx, nor has anyone paid her to praise it in print. She just likes the product very, very much.)
