Heel would get stuck in ground of pumpkin patch. 2. Dirt is hell to get out of suede & embroidery. 3. Even on sale, price would pay for an entire pumpkin crop for underpriveledged kids. There is something about the heel on these that just looks awkward and I don't like the bead work color/pattern combo. The pattern might work in a different color scheme or the color scheme might work with a different pattern, but with the yellow beads, I see owl eyes and it's creepy. Usually I agree with the shoes you like/dislike, but this time? Nooooooo. Bad, Manolo. Bad. Even without the embroidery, the shape of the boot itself isn't especially great. I can already imagine the perfect outfit to go with these boots: an appliqued pumpkin vest with a black turtleneck and stirrup pants. And maybe some plastic ghost pins that light up or some black cat dangly earrings to, you know, continue the theme.
