D & G Sophistication
Manolo says, the Manolo he has been most impressed by the fall shoes from the Dolce and the Gabbana.
This one, for the example, it is urbane and sophisticated, but the brassy D&G hardwears, they make the shoe more assertive and edgy than the understated material and classic line would normally justify.
This shoe it has contrasting rich brown leathers and the loafer-ish details of the kiltie and the chain all wedded incongruously to the pointy toe and stilleto heel. There is the sort of sophisticated visual wit here that gives the Manolo much pleasure.

The first shoe exudes power and has a sharpness to it. I’m not at all sure where fit the cutesy timid pair. The Zippy steps out here. Does not the ‘kiltie’ fringe and chain overpower the toe thus losing it? Then, the short thin heel all but disappears. Overall, it looks unbalanced to me like I would fall off….

I like the second one. Maybe because the heel height is one I could actually wear?

The loafer/spectator pump is fabulous! If the Manolo should run across this style in a more affordably priced line, please please let us know!
