What is Best in Life?

Manolo says, To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

  1. Annalucia Says:

Ah…Conan. The Annalucia admits to enjoying the movie despite the clunky dialog and the bad hair, and the plagiarism of the Conan in stealing his most famous line from the Genghis Khan. In fact she has an overall weakness for the movies of the sword and the sorcery, and much prefers them to futuristic films containing space travel and Spandex jumpsuits.

  2. Gigolo Kitty Says:

Like Annalucia, the Gigolokitty too has a soft spot for Conan. Not for the Barbarian though, its Thulsa Doom all the way for this baby!

  3. Camera Obscura Says:

Consider the quote, then consider the background of Mrs. Governator. ‘Tis scary, no?

  4. Ray Says:

The Mrs. Governator, is she a Mongol? No, a Kennedy! Ah, the Irish Mongol.

  5. Nancy Says:

To fully appreciate The Arnold, one must view “Pumping Iron” at least once. There’s some great dialogue in there, such as “for me, pumping iron is like being viss a voman; I am comink all da time. It is like comink all da time for me.” Ayiiiii…

  6. Mike Beversluis Says:

The first half of that Conan kicks so much ass, not unlike Superman.

The best part of Pumping Iron is watching Arnold take Lou Ferrigno’s head apart. Harsh!

  7. Doodlebug Says:

The Arnold has apparently adopted the Elton John’s mouth posture.

  8. Zarba Says:

The Zarba appreciates the Dead Kennedys reference when you hover over the photo. Irony is Super-Fantastic, no?

  9. desertwind Says:

Poor Arnold. California nurses and teachers have been hounding him at every turn! The Lamentation of women, indeed…

  10. BAH Says:

Lord. Someone needs a photo facial!

    The Manolo’s Shoe Blog

This is one of those sites you just sort of assume everyone knows about. But no! The friends of the Frostopolis, they are some of them not informed of the Manolo! Go there and you’ll get the goofy language…
