Had the Fausta decided for the wedding with the Elvis and the Star Trek, her mom would have had the conniption of the ages.
And the Fausta would have had to pay for everything.
But, then, what is the typical American wedding? A pretend virgin in white wearing 100 yards of silk and beads waltzing down an aisle to a guy who isn’t planning any thing long term. Surrounded by friends and family who give them 2 years at the most. Sound bitter?
Well, of all the weddings I’ve been to, and there have been at least 30, the sacred vows aren’t done echoing in the church and it’s Splitsville.
So, bring on the Elvi and the Klingons, at least this silliness is in good faith.
