Plus, he’s probably terrible in bed and I think her standards must be high.

He’ll probably fall in love with her scintilatingly harsh accent.

Manalo, I love you, however I must confess to not loving all your links within your blogs. I would love to enjoy everything together, not in seperate web-pages. Otherwise, I adore the Manalo and your witty comments. I also think that she would have him rather smitten.

C’mon, Manolo, Ruth Westheimer isn’t “smart and sassy”–she’s a gross-out! She’s an insult to all the lovely grandmothers of this world who try to introduce their grandchildren to old-fashioned standards of taste, refinement, and good manners. Plus, look at that apalling thing she’s wearing! Tsk, tsk, Manolo, I’m surprised at you.

Dr. Ruth makes the Manolo laugh! For that alone she is to be valued. In the short, she is one of the Manolo’s favorite Bubbies!

Ayyyyy! That’s all I’ve got to say!

I would LOVE to have Dr. Ruth as my bubbe!
October 22nd, 2005 at 10:23 am
The good Dr. Ruth she is, without the doubt, the superfantastic Bubbe. The Hugh Hefner he is…..not so superfantastic.

In my humble opinion, Dr. Ruth could use a makeover. For a moment, I thought she was writer/comedian/Hollywood Square Bruce Vilanch and genuinely who would want to be confused with that troll?

What???
October 22nd, 2005 at 4:23 pm
And, of course, the Dr. Ruth is made of flesh and blood and the Hef is made of wax.
October 22nd, 2005 at 8:24 pm
So funny and SO true! Hef is gross (even when he was younger!), but I’ve always always liked Dr. Ruth. Thanks Manolo, this was a funny insight ;o) Could you make this a regular thing? I’m sure you could think of many other “age appropriate” celebrity match-ups!

Yikes! I thought she was Mike Meyers!
October 23rd, 2005 at 12:10 pm
Pbird,
Hmmm, the Mike Meyers he might also make the superfantastic bubbe.
October 23rd, 2005 at 7:38 pm
Do not be so mean to the Bubbe Dr. Ruth!
She is more educational than the Oprah and less crazy than the Madonna. If Bubbe Ruth, M.D., can unabashedly and respectfully talk about the sexy pleasures, than anyone can. And I’m sure she could knock the Heff down a peg or two.

The hef, he is beginning to look like he has stolen The Mask from Jim Carrey
October 24th, 2005 at 9:02 pm
That cannot be the Dr. Ruth on the right side of this most interesting pair.
Surely is it is the Michael of the Myers, in drag.
Not that there is anything wrong with that–certainly, the Hef on the left, he is always one for the unique adventure, eh?

I like the dr. Ruth. I also like the Sue Johanssen the sex talk lady on the O channel. Sandy wishes her grandmothers were so cool.

Dr. Ruth knows the prime sexual organ is the brain. She has one. After sixty, no matter how you dress it up the body isn’t the lure. After sixty the lure is the person inside that you nurtured and grew. All the Manolo’s friends who are trying to look sexy need to remember that sexy can’t be bought or worn.
Heff, OTH, needs an endless string of nubile girls to make him feel up to the job. Maybe it works, but it doesn’t make him sexy, it just makes him think he might possibly perform… or not.
