The leopard, it is La BellaDonna's favorite colour! La BellaDonna, she has only the one pair of leopard shoes (so far); they are the little flats from Newport News, and engagingly casual. There is a printed hair-calf pair of pumps that needs to make its lair in La BellaDonna's closet. Now, if La BellaDonna could find (and afford) a flat pair of leopard boots, the world would be wonderful indeed. Oh, and La BellaDonna, she wears the black tights with the leopard shoes (and other items). There is no "nude" shade on the earth that matches the legs of La BellaDonna, and if the colour is going to be different, it will be by La BellaDonna's choice, and not be default. *La BellaDonna also exercises the restraint, wearing only the one leopard item at the time, so as not to frighten the innocent passersby with her leopard chapeau (from her maman), her leopard belt, her leopard sweater, or silk blouse, or silk peasant skirt, or bias skirt, or Indian gauze with black lace trim, or wrap dress, or ... Oh, how the Manolo cracks the Diva Leigh up!! The boot is fabulous - perfect for the college-age daughter of the Diva Leigh, had the daughter had the good sense to be born into a weathly family! To the Lisa, I think colored hose with the print is very tricky indeed. I must respectfully disagree with the dgm regarding nude hose, that at least as to a "woman of a certain age," bare legs or very sheer nude hose is a classier look than colored hose. I was JUST shopping for leopard print shoes yesterday. And if dgm is correct, then maybe I should splurge and get the Manolos, since apparently I'll be able to wear them every year! Great minds … I was JUST shopping for leopard print shoes yesterday.
