Hmmm…loved Robinson’s classic Housekeeping, but couldn’t finish Gilead. And I know people for whom the same is true, and others for whom the reverse is true. Haven’t found anyone who loved both books, though.

I’m so happy, Mr. Manolo — I didn’t realize you like Osvaldo Golijov! Lincoln Center is having a music and tango festival in his honor in January and February 2006. I’ll be wearing my super-fantasticest dancing shoes!

Tara (and Mr. Manolo!), I’ll be singing in that festival! I, too, am glad (more than glad – ecstatic!) to see the superfantastic Osvaldo gaining such notable attention. He is a wonderful man who write wonderful music. Enjoy Ayre, and all the rest!
