If you were to give the cookbook this year as the gift, you could do not much better than to give the loved ones the Silver Spoon. The book it is both handsome and the masterpiece.

Ay, the Manolo loves the Jose Cura *and* Osvaldo Golijov?! Will you marry me?

While I admire your tastes in shoes, Manolo darlin’, I’m developing a bit of wee crush on you due to your literary habits.

“The Silver Spoon” is now at the top of my cookbook wish list — I’d never heard of it before. As I adore genuine Italian food, I’m embarrassed to admit that. But now that I do know about it, I’m sure I’ll have it on my shelf before the end of the year!

Thanks, Manolo! Your recommendations in all things are much appreciated.

Re: The Silver Spoon (Italian cookbook)–one Amazon reviewer said it contains recipes for 32 types of fish and various shellfish. I must have this book!

You know, the Manolo is definitely in a class by himself. I’ve already ordered the CD for a friend as a surprise present.
