This is what it takes to do any job well, whether it’s designing fashion, delivering mail, or doing taxes. If you find yourself going through the motions, you owe it to yourself, your employer and your coworkers to either demand more from yourself or get a job that suits you better. You’ll be a lot more useful and feel better about yourself.

Tim Gunn is the best part of Project Runway. I just wish he had not saved Wendy Pepper from herself so many times last season.

I think the reason I’ve become enamored of Project Runway is because it’s an actual test of peep’s artistic/psychological/business/focusing abilities, unlike the usual run of the mill reality fiasco. I find it fascinating that they have legitimate contendahs doing their stuff, be it good or bad. With tangible products and results required. Rather than some nebulous bogus apprentice-like project. An actual curriculum vitae is required. Now there’s a concept.

Rock on Manolo and Tim! I am going to link to this in a piece I recently wrote about something similar. It appears the Demi Moore is coming out with a skincare line, which I think is utterly ridiculous.
