I’ve been looking for boots lately. I like the fuzzy faux fur trend but I find the people who put the fur on either go all crazy like you’re an animal yourself, or do just a touch of fuzz on a frumpy show. Very disheartening. I should have known to look to the Maestro Manolo. Of course he would do it right. Now I need to save up the money for these beautiful boots!

An honest question: how in the world does one keep a suede/nubuck boot in a shade as light as this clean for two seconds?! I swear that I would ruin them within the first wearing.

These are stunning boots with amazing detail. These boots say to me, “Driver, drop me off at Ducasse.” Alas, they are not available in my size.

Now THAT is a beautiful boot. Much more attractive than those alligator boots from the other day.

jenny, I was wondering the same thing! I have a nice pair of beige suede boots that I almost never wear because I am so afraid of getting them dirty!

Dearest Manolo, La BellaDonna also joins in the cry of How Do I Keep My Pale, Pale Boots Clean? La BellaDonna wrote to you many months ago regarding this very issue, but she knows that the Manolo, he is very busy. But can you not share this secret, since many other peoples also wish to know? I would love to wear my superfantastic pale oyster boots with their shiny gold tips this season. Many thanks!

Thank God MY size is sold out or I’d feel bad about not having the $1,465. Also–do you really have to lace yourself into those boots? From the back? There’s something to be said for zippers.

I’m not generally into fur on boots… but the shape and the colour and the texture are all wonderful.

To keep boots like that clean (and protected from weather/elements) buy some suede protectant and spray on about three coats. Be warned, however, that doing so may darken the suede a shade. Oooh, that rhymes.
