The Globes of Gold

Manolo says, in the general, the fashions at the Globes of Gold Awards they were tasteful, decorous, and mostly boring. It is clear to the Manolo that the famosos they are now terribly worried about the ridicule of the television shows and the blogs of fashion. As the result, the Manolo, he was forced to look hard for picutres with which he could amuse his internet friends.

Happily, there were the few moments from the ceremony and the after parties that deserved the comment.

The best word to describe this, it is blowzy.

Doing his own thang.

Ayyyyyy! Chiquitita! The scrawny raccoon baby it is so cute!

Here are the Cathy and Rick Hiltons making the Manolo wish he had the bucket of gasoline.

Please tell The Melanie that the suasage skin, it is about to burst.

Meestor Depp seems to have toned down his crazy pirate routine. For him this is strangely subdued.

The Olson bag-o-bones desperately needs the assistance of the What Not to Wear crew.

As for the Hiltons, one can only hope that Michael Corleone is sitting off camera enjoying his veal.

My eyes are in great pain at the sight of the twin of Olsen. Please, Manolo, make it stop!

I still don’t get the Olsen thing. Still. Even after I read the “W” magazine love-fest about her I still don’t see the fascination with her “style.” The only thing I liked about that article was that it was so anti-Hilton.

The Olsen twin were homely babies that grew up to be …. homely adults. They’ve taken that a long way.

Ah, yes. More proof that money doesn’t buy taste. I don’t know which is more disturbing: Melanie’s drum-tight face (and you used to be so adorable!) or the Olsen heroin-addict look.

The Kyra Sedgewick looked fantastic (as always). She got taste.

No, the Olsen twins were beautiful babies, beautiful children, and beautiful adolescents who grew up to be anxorexic neurotics. They’d still be beautiful if they ate something and lost the hair dye (what’s wrong with being a blonde, Mary Kay?) and the ghoulish makeup and clothes.

I am surprised to not see the Mariah Carey dress that was about to burst at the seams. When I saw that picture, I just knew it was going to make to the Manolo. But alas, I was mistaken. :)

The Manolo he has the wicked sense of humor :)
I wonder what would have happened if the Olsons had been the Hilton’s kids? Scary thought.

I wonder what would have happened if the Olsons had smacked around the Hilton’s kids. Happy thought.

I always thought the Olsens looked like Troll dolls when they were kids.

And though Kyra S. does indeed look very lovely, she’d look even better with a few more pounds on her frame, says me.

One of the advantages of being a 50-year-old male… I can find Melanie attractive in that picture. Of course I don’t think it has anything to do with fashion sense, but it is better to be pleased than to be not pleased.

I agree on the Olsen twins. They looked good but now they need to be cleaned up and fed properly.

Please, will someone drive the O twins to the nearest drive through!?! Make my tummy a little icky just looking at that picture…love Melanie though…poor thing..too much botox.

These were all horrible, yes? But did you see the Geena Davis? She looked SMASHING BABY in her Escada red gown. Very classic. And of course, she is so totally witty with her presidential jokes.

Manolo, you are the most fantastic and the most hilarious of all bloggers. I think I’m a little bit in love with you and your warped sense of humour. Did you notice Chloe Sevigny? Does she not make you want to throw her over a balcony?

Also, the Kiera Knightly was delectable. Charlize Theron, ah…….

The Olsen bag-o-bones is desperately in need of a sandwiche and some make-up remover. The dark and dramatic eyes look is only pretty if there’s some color in your face.

The Melanie, her lips alone make for good dishy conversation. Someone needs to tell her that once menopause hits, it’s time to leave the skin tight clothing to…..Is that an Olsen twin, for real???? @@

But I laughed to burst on the gasoline comment. You are the best.
