What The Manolo Is…
Manolo says, here is the list of the media which the Manolo is consuming this week, otherwise known as What the Manolo is…
The Manolo he was completely enthralled by the Capote movie, and the Philip Seymour Hoffman he fully deserves whatever accolades are given to him. It was the sort of movie which the Manolo had come to believe was no longer being made, the movie for the grown up, the movie that requires that the viewer have complex, sometimes contradictory thoughts about the characters and actions on the screen.

Capote is my favorite film of the year and Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s performance is exceptional. Kudos to you, Manolo, for being so discerning. But if you want to see something totally different with its own unique and funny charm see Kung Fu hustle. Yes, I’m serious!

Yes, Manolo, please go see Kung Fu Hustle! There was nothing crazier and funnier in the theaters all of last year.

Ms. Strega admires the Manolo’s intellectual sense, as well as the sense of the fashion!

Jason and the Scorchers! The Manolo, he continues to amaze The Zarba with his eclectic, and thoroughly exquisite, taste.
Had the good fortune of seeing J&TS open for REM at The Fox in Atlanta. 1984, I believe. Rollicking good show. Luckily, we were far enough away that we didn’t have to smell Mr. Stipe.

Love that the Phillip Seymour Hoffman is finally on the serious map, flying off the marginal map in one swift gorgeous move.
