My gosh, there are some remarkable similarities, aren’t there? The Idiot Prince, the Crook, the Bloated One, and Bono. I almost hate to see Bono in such company. However, the shades are nice. And the look on both of their faces says “I wouldn’t be caught dead with this guy if we didn’t have business”.

brilliant.

You’re missing Johnson’s meeting with Forrest.

The Bush, he is so stiff in that picture with the Bono that I thought at first he was the cardboard cutout Bush. But that, perhaps, is redundant.

Who’s the weirdo trying to tickle Bono under the pit?
February 2nd, 2006 at 3:20 pm
The other three are not worthy of shining the rhinestones of the Elvis.
He looks sorta cute there, don’t he?

Bono loves the Bushster for giving billions to fight HIV in Africa. He played some gig recently (maybe having to do with the G8 summit) and told people if they wanted to protest Bush they’d have to do it elsewhere.

Manolo! It is so nice of you to put up the picture of my boyfriend Bono!
It just goes to show, a little tolerance for everyone can make a difference.

[…] s legendary attention to detail is the very thing that made him successful. And one word - Bono. Not to compare myself with them. I am just pointing out that it is not nece […]

*Somebody* had fun with Photshop!…the Elvis shot is real though - I’m old enough to remember it - and I love the fact that The King was obviously stoned out of his mind when it was taken….just look at that glassy stare.
February 2nd, 2006 at 4:13 pm
I wonder if Bono took the opportunity to offer to be an FBI source like Elvis?

“*Somebody* had fun with Photshop!”
Actually, Phyllis, the Bono & Bush photo is real and was taken at the National Prayer Breakfast this morning where Bono spoke. As they say, truth is stranger than fiction.

Ah, but the Bono, he does the good for the peoples, yes? I find the white band to be a good thing! He would attempt a dialog with Satan I think, if he thought he could manage some AIDS funding out of it.. And I’m sorry, he looks super fantastic to me! But I do have a Bono bias- OK fetish equaling my adoration of the shoes. Everyone has a weakness after all. And yes Phyllis, Sarah is correct, and not the first time Bono has had to endure the photo op with the cut out in an attempt to build a bridge of tolerance to save the many poor souls that suffer. One.org my darlings-

Bobo’s head is really that big??
February 3rd, 2006 at 3:13 am
No matter what the carrion crows say, the President and Bono like and appreciate each other.

Could we possibly can the political bad-mouthing here? I have to read plenty of that kind of bickering in my newspaper already – I was hoping we could escape it here.
February 3rd, 2006 at 1:46 pm
Of course, Ang. Sartorical and behavioral bad-mouthing only, darlings.
Many photo-ops benefit one party far more than the other, but both of these were of the “you scratch my back…” variety. And both were total failures in the eyes of those who have brains and bother to use them.
Although I think it’s sad that Bush “has people” to do his back-scratching of the Bono. Doncha love depth-of-field faux pas?

If you leftys want a real mind bender, Google ‘Bono “Jesse Helms”‘;
Check out this pic:

OK, so the Manolo’s blog does not like HTML to be placed therein.
Let’s see if this will come through:

Oh, but The Bono needs the big belt like Mr. Presley’s!
February 6th, 2006 at 10:08 am
“Sartorical and behavioral bad-mouthing only”
Precisely.
February 6th, 2006 at 10:57 am
CameraObscura has said it most precisely:
“Sartorical and behavioral bad-mouthing only”
However, what is it with Bono’s glasses? Are they surgically attached?
May 19th, 2006 at 10:26 am
He buys large quantities of those glasses, these are the Armani 9285 RED glasses, he also wears Bulgari 611’s alot. Why he wears them? he’s got very sensitive eyes that turn red is someone takes a photo and leaves him half-blind most of the rest of the day… There, bet you didn’t know that! :p
