Philip Glass? Wow.
The desertwind enjoyed Levy’s installments in The Atlantic Monthly and is looking forward to the Manolo’s book-report!
The French they are a funny race.
ooh, BHL–what is the trusted Manolo’s opinion of the Vertigo?
For further amusement and edification, read Garrison Keillor’s very funny (as well as scathing) indictment of BHL’s book in one of the latest New York Review of Books. Cover story.
This is only to say that I attend this blog once in a while. Keep up the good job. STYLETTOS Italy has its own blog too now, and there is a link to this page. A reverse link would be nice.
Hi from Roma, Italy
People actually read Harrison Beillor?? Not super fantastic….
the ‘Lady Killers’ is a wonderful movie. And if you enjoy Alec Guiness, then do get and watch him in ‘Kind Hearts and Coronets’. I believe he plays … 7 or 8 of the characters in the movie. Terrific.
Missed a “the”! We are indeed exactly like the army of the Davids.
