Voila! Virtually the <i>same look</i> at just a fraction of the cost! I'm from a cold-weather-spot too, and around here people pull out their shorts & tank tops when it gets up into the mid 40's, let alone into the 50's! I just read this book "FutureShop" by Daniel Nissanoff. It's all about how eBay is changing the way we shop. According to him the online auction culture is going to completely change the way we look at our possesions. We will eventually view them as temporary because we will turn around and sell them on eBay in a few years when they are no longer of any use to us. So we can go out and spend $500 on our shoes b/c next season we can sell them for $300 on eBay. This is a great book and it makes sense. You should check it out.
