It's me! I am that Pizza Hut waitress. All night long I hear "will Jessica Simpson bring it to me?" I even started singing that song to one of my tables when I brought their pizza, just for a laugh.

She does have a talented voice. She was born with the genes to make her chest the way it is... don't knock it just because. My only problem is with her glorification of stupidity. She gives blondes (bleached and otherwise) a bad name.

The thing to remember about Jessica is that she is not entirely her own fault. That is, her place in our culture has everything to do with her exploitative father, and the Lowest Common Denominator (of which the father is a prime example). The tragedy is, somebody could have shown her the way out of bimbohood. I have encountered plenty of women with similar looks and backgrounds who are doing a great job of not being like that. Yes, this is currently her choice, but look at the guidance she has received, and the celebrity and money she gets. I fear she will continue to parlay what she's got into what she's getting. In some ways, her loss is greater than ours.

Would someone PLEASE make her go away???? I fear for the young women that look to this creature as a picture of what to do with your life.. I find it telling that after seeing that commercial the first time (and seeing the look on my face) my 8 year old son piped up and said "Ewww, trashy!! Don't worry Mom, I'll never date a dumb bimbo, I promise!" Out of the mouths of babes indeed.. more amusing, the eldest child (a female) pondered "Gee, wouldn't it be funny to watch her try and take the SAT?"

And my advice to the Suggie- keep them dear.. we all only wish we had such friends.

Don't apologize, Jenny. Jess couldn't rub two Johnny Knoxville-rattled brain cells together to read that, let alone catch the insult hidden in all those skeeeeery big words.

mcs - Manolo is saying that if the world were just, then Jessica would be a waitress and the talented waitress would be a star. Sadly for us, and the waitress, this world is not just.
