After reading the live blog comments by the Manolo, one finds oneself ever more deeply appreciative of the Manolo’s wit and stylish insight, particularly about such outlying topic points as amatory congress and the evil that fog does.
…but in addition to Manolo live blogging - we have Peter Fonda, Judd Neslon and Rauol Walsh! And Dennis Hooper is in the room with Fonda. I am lovin’ this….
I am sad to say this, but I suspect the highly celebrated name bloggers are roleplayers rather than the celebrities they claim to be. Mr. Walsh, for example, I suspect to be none other than Mr. Simon.
I’m afraid I started just skipping over any comments that weren’t labeled “Manolo.” The Manolo displayed the wit and charm, and quite frankly the funny, to which I have become accustomed to.
If only someone had stopped the fog. And if only someone had stopped Charlize Theron from wearing that ridiculous bow on her shoulder - at one point I was sure it was about to swallow up her whole head.
Why am I always the last one to the party? Manolo, you should have let us know ahead of time! I liked you and Andrew the best, but the dead guys were spot on, too. You were definitely the funniest…and no, I’m NOT prejudiced!

Pajamas Media? Oh dear.
It matters not at all to me what one’s political notions might be, of course, but Manolo, Manolo… Pajamas Media is so tacky.

Manolo, darling, we TV-less are depending on you.
Please, please, please spike the cocktails of your compadres and knock them out. So far it’s too much bitch, not enuff cat.
Meow! You know what we want…

..why think that? It’s still funny stuff - c’mon…it’s just the Oscars

I’ve got to say, Manolo, you’re the only funny one of the bunch. The rest are just lame.
They’re either trying too hard, or just unable to be amusing.

I must agree; only the Manolo is demonstrating any class - or even much attention to the Oscars themselves.
I am sorry that you did not get a chance to closely observe the shoes of great price.

I agree. What is the opposite of outclassed? Whatever it is, that’s what you are being. Underclassed. Subclassed.

Thanks, Manolo, for your great blogging! It made the oscars much more interesting! :-)

Thanks, dear Manolo.
You are indeed super-fantastic!

The Manolo did a DELEECIOUS job live-blogging the Oscars. And I did not even watch the Oscars!
I would like a t-shirt that says: “Manolo loves the Dolly Parton! Even if she is slowly being carved into the simulacrum of Joan Rivers.”
March 6th, 2006 at 10:30 am
And a t-shirt that says:
Lauren Bacall is 82!
And she does not look the day over 72!
Truly this it is the testament to the rejuvinating power of amatory congress with tiny men.

Manolo you were wonderful. Here’s hoping next year you find yourself among better company.
(Sheesh, just having to skip over some of those comments hurt my eyes…take me to a Lushbath, I need fragrant cleansing.)

Trust the Manolo. Next year the Manolo goes solo for the live-blogging of the Oscars, or perhaps just the Never teh Bride for company.
