Hola to the Kyla! She (La BellaDonna makes the presumption) is aware that there are the shoemakers who will make the Kyla the custom shoes for less than the £2,200 per pair, yes? The Berluti are doubtless the ne plus ultra of the shoes, but the Kyla, she can doubtless be shod for considerably less.

Gasp! I scooped the Manolo! Two days ago I suggested the Berluti under 'Bespoke' in 'Manolo for the Men'. But I am not worthy.

I add only that in the superfantastic shop off Sloane Street, the young and beautiful mens and womens fit the shoes on your feets. They are trained to add the little caress to the process I am sure.

God, I would love to be able to have my shoes made for me. I wear a non-existent shoe size and I always have to settle for what fits best. Nothing ever fits quite right. My shoe dream.

When I looked at the photos of the patched shoes, I immediately thought, "Those are shoes for a dandy." I was pleased to see that the Manolo thought so, as well. Shoes for the dandy Warhol, huh? (Hee.)
