Ha ha! La Retrosessuale once met the mamma of the Charles. She looked just like the Charles in this picture. . . only with the stupid hat instead of the stupid babouschka.

Charles also has the turbie twist in a variety of colors, to match his mood and clothes.

Oh My God … the man who could be King.
Has anyone seen http://ace.mu.nu/archives/163338.php The man who could have been President?

Just add a black tassle to his turban and he’d look like a Shriner who’s had a few too many at this year’s “Honolulu Honeymoon”-themed convention.

One wishes perhaps the Duke of Windsor had not married Mrs. Simson….

Egad! The Dora missed the p… However- her jewels were most magnificent.

He looks miserable. I’d say he hates his clothes, hates what he’s doing, and wants to go back to playing polo, or rogering whatsername. And those two things, probably, constitute his purpose for being.

Seriously, I respect the man. While he may share his country’s national taste for egregious headwear, he’s been organically gardening on his estate since the 1980′s. Considering the impact of his hat vs. the impact of some of his actions, he’s still above par compared to some of his countrymen.

Me thinks this look is called “Little Red Riding in ‘da Hood”.

It’s better than the whole tampon fiasco.

“I say, Prince William, now this is PROPER buggering wear at Eton.”

Heh. I love the term “rogering”.

Ah, Anne, but his inclination toward Islam–specifically toward having more than one wife at a time…

Wallis Simpson was fashionable, and her jewels were lovely, but she had the face of the wrinkled pie tin, and the bone structure of the velociraptor. I did read a memoir of one of her guests, who addressed her as “Your Highness,” who emphasized that the Duchess required the bath water to have the temperature individual for each bather. That is rather fascinating, but I’m not sure quite why.

Ay! La Retrosessuale thought she had successfully suppressed the memory of the whole tampon incident. Thanks for the memories, Tea!

Just gotta say, he went to a SIKH temple not MUSLIM. Big difference. And when you go to one, you have to cover your head with a hankerchief – its a sign of respect to GOD.

It may not be the best look but its part of my religion when visiting the temple.
