Dear The Manolo, can being bald be superfantastic, even for a woman? I ask because one of my favorite online essayists will shave her head if her readers raise $30,000 for Donors Choose, a charity that provides school equipment to underfunded classrooms. Clearly, going that far to help low-income students is superfantastic in and of itself, but will the look be superfantastic too?
