i love wedges, they should always be in fashion they look hot too,

and i think that every shoe is much easier to walk in than those normal strappy heels - my huge feet always slip to one side, making me look like a very wobbly freak

You've done what I thought impossible, even for The Manolo: Look at wedges (most of which or fugNASTY), and imagine working my feet in some.

Keep 'em coming Manolo! Now that we have been educuated in wedge couture, I think a clearly defining feature of the good ones is a little cut-out on the bottom instead of just a flat sole. Interesting materials on the wedge also seems to make a difference.

I love them both! I prefer the ones on the left because of the ankle strap. I think it makes your ankles look smaller...

I wore wedges all last summer, I found them the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They give you a far more stable platform than heels. Love 'em.

OK, I must ask something of my more informed internet friends: how does one walk in these wedges without massive knee pain? Am I alone in experiencing this? Is there some technique?

I disagree with the Dave. I am in love with the wedges the Manolo revealed today! They have been a hit in South America for years now, and it's about time that the wedge hit main stream American fashion. Great picks Manolo!

The Manolo is always correct in the assessment of the matters of fashion - until now. Wedges are as unattractive as the word itself. "Wedge". "Wedge". Say it out loud. It is clumpy, thick and stodgy. No matter how fine the uppers, the wedge soles - like the word itself - are completely lacking in delicacy, finesse, or beauty. Down with the clumpy clogs I say!
