April’s Fools!!
Manolo shouts
April Fools!
The Manolo has played the little April Foolishness joke on his many internet friends!
It was the good one, yes?
P.S. If you did not see the joke, the Manolo has preserved it here. But before you click you must imagine that you are planning to visit the humble shoe blog of he Manolo.

What?! What???
The Manolo is of course the most kind, benevolent and superfantastic, and he will understand that I was crossing the fingers behind my back when I pledged fealty to the Lagerfeld Mann.
Well I must go and try to back out of all those bids for 18th century fans on eBay.

It was the good one, yes?
Yes it was, indeed.

Thank you, oh superfantastic one! I truly enjoyed the joke! Well played, sir.

Truly a joke worthy of the superfantastic Manolo. My husband came running in to find out what I was laughing about! Thank you!

“Bloggerfeld” is one of the most hilarious blog names I’ve ever read. Ever. :D
April 2nd, 2006 at 12:20 pm
Manolo, that was awesome! Perfectly executed, and so very, very clever!
April 2nd, 2006 at 12:46 pm
Certainly that brought a ray of sunshine into my life!
The best thing in life is the ability to make people smile!
And Manolo did that very very well!

Has the Manolo seen the movie “I’m the One that I want” with the Margaret Cho doing the stand up comedy? She has a wonderful bit in the beginning about the horrors of the Karl Lagerfeld.

The Manolo has surpassed even his own wit and brilliance with the day of the “Bloggerfeld.” Even the husband of the Deja (whose interest in fashion is slightly below the average teenager’s interest in Perry Como) was amused.

Oh Manolo! I thank the merciful heavens that you have not been colonized and oppressed by the fashion fascist of the Evil Empire!
Almost losing you makes me appreciate you all the more…
April 2nd, 2006 at 8:08 pm
Very, very funny, Manolo. But please don’t ever do it again.

The Manolo’s bit of April Fools’ Day mischief was truly enjoyed and appreciated.

You are indeed the blogfather of us all. Manolo. After reading your joke we were wishing that we had something foolish too. The Superfantastic Scarlett came up with this one: http://bloggingprojectrunway.blogspot.com/2006/04/heidi-klum-auf.html Pretty good eh?

Bravo, bravissimo, Manolo! The Fool of the April, it was the best joke that ever I have seen.
