The Manolo, he has mentioned one of my favorite British films! Michael Powell’s films (beyond The Red Shoes) deserve to be better known.
I enjoy your “What the Manolo is…” entries so much. My hat is off to you for being a man of excellent and far-ranging tastes.

Lost Languages is indeed better than super-fantastic! Really, it’s fascinating, full of mysteries and not at all dry. And I’m not the author either ;)
