Hmmm, nothing like the good discussion on the logic of a scientific position.

And may your mother run out from underneath the porch and pee on your shoes.
No, I apologise. The shoes are innocent.

Al Gore believes in Global Warming. He took political fashion advice from Naomi Wolf......
Hmmmm, I think Michael Crichton's book "State of Fear" must have it right then, global bunk for money and power.

Global warming wouldn't mean that it would get warmer everywhere, just the average temperature of the earth would go up. The main problem with that is it might change the weather patterns, so for all we know, it could get colder in Oregon.

The Annalucia, she agrees with the Phyllis about the cold versus the hot weather. The Chicago winter does not offer many pleasures, but one of them is the complete lack of insects, and for that she is willing to shovel the snow and wear the long johns from the Winter Silks.

She will also add the Barrow to her very short list of Possible Places to Retire To When She Becomes Old and Crochety. At the moment the only other candidate is the Tooele, Utah. She has chosen it purely for its name: all the annoying and unpleasant people of her acquaintance will look at it and say, ``How do you pronounce THAT?'' and will refrain from visiting because they will not want to risk the embarrassment of mispronouncing the name.

La BellaDonna, she suggests that the Bridget's husband may want to broaden his range briefly, but not to worry! Once the global warming, it has melted enough of the polar ice, the Gulf Stream, which gives us the predictable climate, it will shut down, and we will have the new ice age, and the husband of the Bridget, his cold weather footgear will be much in demand.
