There are days when one wakes up here in London, turns to one’s newspaper, the Guardian, finds that it has printed on its op ed pages an edited version of the Iranian prime minister’s letter to President Bush, with Holocaust denial, and frankly, if it were not for the blog of the Manolo one would slit one’s throat at once, and get it over with.
When the said prime minister comes to get me, and cover me up with a chador,* I shall whack him round the face with these sandals.
* and believe me, being female is only one of my many crimes in the eyes of that crackpot

I don’t really like those shoes… There is something about them that is a little….weird?

Oh, I think they’re darling.

Manolo, once again I’m reminded of you.
In an email from my sister:
“…Teacher Appreciation Week”… Sara’s teacher, Miss Foote, is nuts about shoes, and Sara found the cutest note paper decorated with various shoe designs on the front. They also found a package of novelty tissues that said, “Happiness is wearing new shoes while shopping for new shoes!”

Yikes, the sandals of the fabulosity. Ditch the name Kate, and we might have a deal.

I am just sitting here counting the number of outfits that I can wear these with . . . . the number may be infinite . . .

The sandals of the Kimora Lee Simmons? Surely the Kate cannot be serious. Kimora wouldn’t be caught dead in shoes so tasteful.

I find these sandals so fun to look at, but I cannot wear these sandals for fear of toe crushing people :) Kate Spade is a remarkable designer and I love practically everything she comes out with…

I like these very much, and not just because they look like ladybugs. I am sure that they would not last two weeks on the Fashion Outlaw’s ungainly feet before she trips over herself and breaks a strap, though. Le sigh!
