The Next Carnivale of the Couture
Manolo says, the Bargain Queen she has posted the topic for the very next Carnival of the Couture, and it is the good one.
What is your best-ever bargain? Where did you find it, how much was it and why is it your favourite?
The best of all the bargains? This question is the the excellent question, but oh so difficult to answer. The Manolo must think!

My best bargain was a forest green, wool, Herman Kay winter coat. For the last seven years or so, I have worn it almost every day during the winter and for parts of the fall and spring (we’re having a cold snap in Virginia, so I wore it at least one day last week and probably will again this week). The price: under $7 when I bought it at Goodwill!
Unfortunately, the coat is beginning to have a few picks and slight fading in areas, and the lining has torn in a few spots. I bought a suede coat for $50, but at present it is only for special occasions — I am not sure that it will hold up well enough to be an everyday coat.
