For this week’s Carnivale, I want to know what runway look you would wear as a Halloween costume. And no cheating; it has to be an outfit actually sent down a runway by a designer! So go forth, fashion bloggers, and find photos of your costumes!

This it is the excellent but most incredibly difficult topic.

It is difficult because has has so many costumery possibilities from which to choose. Would the Manolo go as the Indian Chief or the Dread Pirate? The Gangster of Love or the Napoleon XIV?

When the Eurovision has arrived it is only natural to turn to comforts offered by the Father Ted and the Father Dougal, if only to remind us of the triumph of “My Pretty Horse”.

Manolo says, you must at this immediate moment go to the blog of the Bargain Queen so that you may read the latest Carnivale of the Couture.

Manolo says, the Manolo he has of late been feeling unsettled, nervousy, on edge. There is the atmosphere of dark foreboding, as if something terrible were about to happen.

The portents they have not been good.
