Manolo, I removed that entry on Fashion-Incubator. I'll repost the topic as the time approaches.

To dress festively in the midst of brutal heat and humidity, it is very difficult. The Annalucia sometimes wishes that the Founding Fathers had made up their minds to declare the independence in April or May, or failing that, to have delayed it until the first of October or thereabouts.

For the aforesaid brutal heat, the Annalucia has two dresses. One is purple, one is jade green, and they are both made from the lightweight and opaque Breezecloth available from the kindly folk at the Deva Lifewear. On the Fourth, she wore the purple dress and the big straw hat and nobody shied away in horror, so she feels that the problem was most adequately dealt with.
